My THIRD finished object in one week! I have a serious case of the brioche bug. This is actually my second Germoglio shawl, a pattern by @digitalnabi and the shape and overall design are perfection in my opinion. I’ve actually been knitting a lot lately!! WIPs are pretty manic right now. I started 3 projects in the last month and I had NO business doing that with so many other things on the needles, but I’m pleased that the knitting bug is back so I’m just enjoying the process even if it’s yielding zero FOs. 🥴 And I even have a gorgeous sweater that I could probably finish in a few hours. But I keep reaching for other things. Just glad to have needles in my hands again!! This past Friday I went to an event for Hudson Valley participants in the @alzassociation’s Longest Day event. I was so honored to be greeted incredibly warmly not only by the event Manager Lauren but also by many other supporters of this important cause. And some how... I’m now signed up for “Subzero Heroes” in February, which apparently involves me jumping in a frozen lake. Yikes! 😲 🥶 😂 I want to thank everyone who supported me on the Longest Day and also put the bug in your ear that I’m pretty sure the subzero heroes will need hats and mittens to warm up after the plunge!
